Malva subovata is a broadleaf semi-evergreen perennial with blue foliage. In spring and summer lavender and magenta flowers emerge. Features fuzzy texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and regular - occasional water. Does well in average and well-drained soil.

(TREE MALLOW) Fast growing evergreen shrub 6-8’ tall and 8-12’ wide with silvery green lobed leaves and an upright mounding shape. Flowers resembling tropical Hibiscus almost non stop early spring through late fall are lavender pink with rich rose centers and veining. Hummer magnet! Average garden soil with moderate moisture, happiest in sun but will take part shade. USDA Z6
Large, mounding shrub to 8' high and 12' wide with light gray-green, 2-3", maple-like leaves. The showy flowers are white with rose-purple centers and purple veins. This species features a long flowering season from early spring into late fall in coastal regions. Useful as a background shrub or screen. Southern France.
