    Narcissus sp. is a broadleaf deciduous perennial bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In winter orange and yellow flowers emerge. Features grassy texture. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer, dry when dormant. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

    A lovely creature with a long history in horticulture; a plant introduced from its Asian origin hundreds of years ago via the silk road. Also a favorite from Sean’s childhood garden. Several fragrant, 1” flowers with a yellow-orange trumpet are produced in late November but certainly by January. For a sunny spot with good summer baking. Frost hardy to the bottom of USDA zone 8.
