Tulipa 'Strawberry Romanoff' plant details

Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Tulipa 'Strawberry Romanoff' has flowers with ever changing colours. The flowers emerge pale yellow with rose-pink edges which mature to pure white with cherry red edges. In between you have a tricolour of white, pink and pinkish red. Lily-flowering tulips offer elegance to containers and garden beds. The flowers have slightly bulbous bases that narrow upwards and then flare open with pointed petal tips. Hybrid tulips can persist in the garden for many years. Afterall, they rebloom each year in the fields of the Netherlands. Provide full sun where bulbs aren't shaded by other plants, fertilize with bulb food as soon as they emerge in spring, and allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering.
