Camassia leichtlinii 'Aurora' plant details

Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Camassia leichtlinii 'Aurora' represents an exciting new colour in camas lilies. The buds are pink and blue opening to lavender pink flowers with hints of blue at the tips and a glow of white at the flower centres. This is a larger and more stately species than C. quamash. Native from BC to southern California. Camassia grow in winter-wet soils that dry out in summer which means they will be tolerant of clay-heavy garden soils.
