Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Philadelphus 'Dainty Lady' is a hardy mock orange shrub with an abundance of small, intensely fragrant, single white flowers with contrasting purple to maroon sepals for a lovely bicolour effect in early summer. Shrubs are upright with pendulous flower stems and small to medium sized, glaucous green foliage. Plants will reach about six feet tall in 5-10 years. Use as a foundation planting, for hedges, in borders, and for low privacy screens. Pollinator attractor.
