Hosta ‘Skywriter' is an elegant plantain lily that sports slightly upright, ruffled blue, corrugated leaves with white reverses that are held on bright purple petioles. Lavender flowers on purple scapes emerge in late summer on plants 15 inches tall by 30 inches wide. Awesome in the shady garden, as a mass-planted understorey ground cover, and in containers. Attracts hummingbirds and bees.
