Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The dazzling foliage this special 20-30't x 15-25'w tree is deep-green and brightly splashed and speckled with glowing cream. In spring, showy and incredibly fragrant, bright-white flowers hang down like bells. This exquisite selection is a wonderful understory specimen for the forest's edge (needs some shade or the foliage will burn). PSh/M/GDr
Leaves on this slow-growing plant are generously variegated with bright white color. A very unique variety that makes a stunning color contrast!
From the same nurseryman with an excellent eye for new plants (see above). Foliage is what it's all about! The foliage on this styrax is deep green with bright splashes of creamy white. We have seen plants of Styrax 'Frosted Emerald' in full sun that have lovely splashes of white on the leaf. In semishade the plant will be almost totally creamy white. We would recommend that it is grown with some afternoon shade.
Deep green small leaves are splashed with bright, creamy-white. More shade = more white! Pendent small white bell flowers noticeably fragrance the air in spring. This is one of the loveliest of small trees! 25' T x 20' W Minimum temperature: 0?F
This cultivar of Japanese Snowbell has green and white variegated leaves - typically more white than green. White, bell-shaped flowers in spring are slightly fragrant. Protect from afternoon sun as variegation can burn. Growth Rate medium
Frosted Emerald is slow growing but worth it.
