Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Hosta 'Glad Rags' is a rare cultivar with bold new foliage with a deep green centre and broad edges that emerge chartreuse, turn to bright yellow, and age to creamy yellow in summer. The narrow green central bands of the young leaves will also often thicken through summer. Leaves are thick, corrugated, and cupped when plants are mature. The image shows the young leaves of an established plant. Summer foliage will not be as bold. Forms mounds 16 inches tall by 24 inches wide. Pale lavender flowers.
