Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This bureavii hybrid has deep green heavily felted leaves. The indumentum covers the leaves most of the summer. Flowers are white. But, the foliage is incredible.
One of the most exceptional foliage rhododendrons on the market today. Large, dark glossy green leaves with a thick coating of tan-colored indumentum underneath. Pink flowers with light pink centers adorn the plant in April. A great selection for year-round beauty.
An exceptional plant for foliage, in fact probably one of the finest in the Genus Rhododendron. The leaves are deep glossy green and the underside of the foliage is covered with woolly fur called indumentum. The indumentum starts out white on the new foliage and eventually turns a delightful cinnamon brown. Large pink flowers with lighter pink centers cover the beautiful foliage each spring. (bureavii x degronianum ssp. yakushimanum)

Large, but delicate pink flowers appear in tall conical trusses atop this exceptional hybrid. The compact plant is covered with glossy, deep green foliage and the underside of each leaf is covered with a teddy-bear-brown indumentum.
