This stunning geometric Agave from native to Sonora Mexico forms rounded single rosettes of deep green, red-tinged leaves up to 3ft. across. Tightly spaced leaves form an attractive dome shape, each tipped with a long cream colored apical spine. Tall narrow spike of deep red flowers to 10 ft. after many years. Full sun to light shade in gritty well drained soil. Cold hardy to 10 F. USDA zone 9a, 8b if kept winter dry.
