Here is the mating of a "mouse" and an "elephant". One of the smallest rhododendrons crossed with one of the largest. These are grown from seed, so each will be different though they are uniformly beautiful foliage plants. Flowers will be white to cream, with some marking in the throat and should be very attractive. But, more than anything you will want to grow this for its foliage and plant, that will shine in deep luscious green with some indumentum under the leaves and also on the top of the new growth. This is an outstanding, rarely made cross, so get some of these while they are available. This cross was made by Willard Thompson of Waldport, Oregon.

1 per customer. This large leaf rhododendron has deep green oval leaves with white gray indumentums. Our plant is 15' and is pretty all year. In March, the plant will have beautiful bell- like flowers that make a beautiful truss of rich yellow. We are amazed. We are having seedlings come up under our plants. These are however cutting.
