Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Zn 7. Tight mound of small green foliage.
Very few shrubs have as many excellent attributes as this exceedingly handsome small Manzanita, forming a dome-shaped shrub to only 3' tall and as wide. Dapper red stems, new growth flushed red, and in early spring, profuse pearl-pink flowers followed by orange-red berries! Extremely tough, impervious to drought, likes well drained soil with no summer water in full sun to light shade. EASY and VERY cold hardy. Grows very s l o w l y.
A small size California native that has rich green foliage. Would make an excellent rock garden shrub for a well drained sunny area.
