A rare and unusual plant with particularly dense rosettes, to 1 ft x 1 ft. The narrow, dark green leaves have striking white markings with decorative filifers or threads an added attraction. A colonizer from high elevations of central Arizona, this form makes a fine rock garden specimen if excellent drainage and bright light can be maintained. Protect from excess winter moisture. Cold hardy to -10F, USDA zone 6, or below in dry soil.
