    Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This glorious Crocosmia stays upright and compact all season; no stalking or flopping! Brilliant, bright-red blossoms perch in clusters 2' high atop the deep-green 12" blades of foliage. This easy care clumper will spread out to about 2' wide. The blooms are absolutely adored by hummingbirds and butterflies and will attract them in droves! This is the perfect perennial for the front of the border, massed, or in containers. S/M
