Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Begonia ‘Hocking Tatoo’ is unique species of Begonia with medium sized, palmate leaves in tones of chartreuse to lime green. The serrated leaves are mottled with specks of mahogany red. Grows with an upright, clumping habit. Begonias grow best in well-drained, humus-rich soil with moderate water. They prefer high humidity and indirect sunlight. Apply a slow-release fertilizer sparingly in spring. This makes a beautiful accent plant for a border or container, but is primarily used as a houseplant. Even works as a terrarium specimen. Protect from frost!
