Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This stunning South African native incited plenty of plant lust in those who got to see it bloom last year. To 2’ tall and wide, it bears masses of 5” spikes of intense, deep blue flowers above attractive, serrated leaves. We had ours in a 12” container with rich, well-drained soil in bright shade. Plectranthus is VERY EASY to grow, as it is related to Coleus. It does appear to be cold sensitive, so grow it as an annual or protect from freezing temps OR, like a Coleus, bring her inside for the Winter.
