    Hosta 'Royal Standard' is a moderate-growing broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In summer lavender flowers emerge. Attracts hummingbirds. Grows well with mostly shade - shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

    Rich, deep-green, wavy-edged foliage and fragrant white flowers make this variety a standard by which to measure the others. Each long, narrow leaf is up to 9" long and massed together they create a mound 2' tall and 5' wide! The late-summer, cup shaped, white blossoms rise prettily on 3' scapes.
