Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Yucca aloifolia "Magenta Magic" has evergreen stalks of deep green that deepen to purple mauve when cooler autumn weather sets in. It grows well in arid, well-drained soils, and loves the heat of sunny, problem areas in the landscape. Makes a bold statement planted en masse, and provides multiple seasons of interest.
A relatively cold hardy Yucca that emerges with green leaves for the growing season and white flowers in the spring. Its purple color adorns the plant for fall as temperatures cool.
Yucca aloifolia ‘Magenta Magic’ displays rigid, sword-shaped leaves which are dark green and powdery-blue low in the clump. The leaves then turn a dusky purple as they arch out, more so in fall. Central stalks display creamy-white flowers on tall panicles. Plant in any well-drained soil. Uses little water once established. Use in rock gardens, containers or mass plantings.
