Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A wonderful plant, but not a native as the name might suggest. Americana is actually a European hybrid with loads of fragrant flowers that start as pink buds and open to creamy insides which fade to pale yellow. Lustrous blue-green foliage is semi-evergreen. Easy and very vigorous! Lonicera caprifolium L. x Lonicera etrusca Santi. Scrambling Climber; grows straight up and over structures. European Native.
