Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Beautiful deep red to coral, yellow throated tubular blooms are born from spring to fall. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Its tame habit and long blooming season makes this a lovely vine for a fence, arbor or trellis. Coral Honeysuckle or Trumpet Honeysuckle is a native, often evergreen vine that is vigorous and easy to grow as well as easy to control, unlike its white and yellow Japanese cousin. We often see a few flowers on our vines in the garden in winter but the main show is in spring with flowers continuing on and off often until fall. Few other woody vines can provide the long flowering show that this wonderful native can provide as well as attracting loads of Hummingbirds.
A beautiful native with orange tubular flowers that attract hummingbirds. The berries are lovely and feed songbirds, too! Easy to grow and non-invasive. Blooms late spring early summer. Twining Type; twines around structures.
