Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Sunshine Daydream' is probably the best sunflower variety available because of its longer flowering season, high flower production, and amazing fully double blooms shaped like golden domes. Loved by bees and butterflies, this variety is a perennial shrub so you only have to plant it once and it will resprout from the roots each spring in the same place and provide more blooms. 'Sunshine Daydream' is by far the earliest blooming sunflower we have ever come across and we use its flowers in cut flower arrangements extensively. The flowers are about three inches across, about the size and shape of a Dahlia flower.
