Nursery contributed plant descriptions

In its native habitat, this small clumping clover is found in mountainous regions in moist or dry shady forests. It spans the Himalayas into China, the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea, but not because it is invasive. To the contrary, this oxalis is a polite clumper that just happens to enjoy living between about 2600 and 11,000' at the lower latitudes. Here, the pretty, double white flowers amongst 2-4" bright green foliage grace the woodland in April and May. Part sun or bright shade help to open the blooms. Thank you, Far Reaches Nursery. Minimum temperature: 0 °F
