    Oxalis adenophylla is a distinctive false shamrock often called silver shamrock. It has pleated, deeply cut, greenish gray foliage topped with masses of showy pink flowers with white centres. Use it as an accent or a small scale ground cover. Native to alpine areas of Chile and Argentina.

    Hailing from Chile and Argentina you'd expect this oxalis to be tender and unable to handle cold. Not the case. These little beauties are hardy to -25 degree Fahrenheit and are also happy in heat. Worth growing for the silvery foliage alone, these oxalis sports crenulated foliage, framing small pale pink to lilac flowers.

    Nifty little bulb that really puts on a show with its glaucous blue-gray leaves and big pink flowers. This makes offsets and makes quite a nice mound of foliage and flowers. Good drainage and sun is important. Hardy here and especially so if you toss a little mulch on top in the fall.
