A relatively new species to cultivation. This high alpine Taliensia has dark red-brown indumentum on the lower leaf surface. Brightly colored rose to deep pink to almost red flowers in mid-spring. Best in very light shade with excellent drainage. From seed collected wild in a newly explored region of the Eastern Himalaya.
