Origanum laevigatum 'Hopleys' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial herb with blue and green foliage. In fall and summer purple flowers emerge. Attracts bees and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in average, gritty, lean and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

Mounding ornamental herb 18-24” high and wide. Very attractive purplish pink flowers June September...beloved of bees. Nice cut and dried flower. Needs well drained soil, full sun and will take dry to moderately moist conditions. Shear occasionally for neatness. Deer, rabbit and gopher resistant as well as drought tolerant.
