    Agave flexispina is an evergreen cactus / succulent with green foliage. Features glaucous texture. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter. Does well in gritty, lean, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

    Rare in cultivation this agave comes from oak and grasslands of northern Sonora in Mexico. Up to 18” tall with silvery gray leaves, offsetting occasionally after becoming settled. Very drought tolerant but responds amicably to summer water if soil is very well-drained. Frost hardy in upper USDA zone 7 with reports surviving 0 °F unharmed. Think drainage!
