Hosta ‘Orange Star’ features thick, green-edged leaves that glow orange at the center in morning sun, yellow in shade. Displays creamy white to pale lilac flowers. Hostas, also called Plantain Lilies, grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils. A good partner for ferns. Although the flowers are attractive, Hostas are usually grown for their ornamental foliage.
