Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Looking for a fragrant, super tough, ultra-foxy, deer tolerant groundcover that's EASY PEASY? Way cuter than it's more commonly seen sister T. jasminoides, T. asiatica has smaller (1-2" long) leaves & less of an urge to climb (only up to 3'). Great for containers & hanging baskets, or any super-tough-to-fill spot. Growing to 6-12" high with 24" prostrate vines covered in glossy, weed-suppressing, evergreen leathery leaves, it doesn't mind light foot traffic, urban situations (think median strips), heat or salt spray. A native to Japan & Korea, wonderfully scented pale yellow flowers make their appearance in Summer.

A very beautiful species (Hillier)--hardier and more compact than T.jasminoides--providing a dense glossy EG cover to ground or wall; very fragrant creamy-white flowers; can be used as a house plant. Sun-PSh/Med
