Beauty of Moscow lilac is a highly fragrant lilac with double white flowers. The double florets emerge from pink buds giving a two-toned blush effect to the flowers. This cultivar was developed in 1943 by a Russian hybridizer and is still a popular choice today. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
This wonderful lilac is treasured by many, with good reason! It boasts beautiful soft pink buds which open up to be deliciously fragrant, soft-white, double-flowers. The deep-green leaves on this 8-12' shrub look good in the landscape after bloom as well. This cultivar was first developed by a Russian hybridizer in 1943; 'Krasavitsa Moskvy' translates into the English trade name of Beauty of Moscow. This is a fabulous shrub for specimen, hedge and especially for the cutting garden! S/M
