A mint fragrance wafts through the air when the wind stirs the leaves and a wide assortment of pollinators land on the blooms to taste the nectar. Hairy Mountain Mint or Whorled Mountain Mint sports clusters of upright white flowers with dotted purple color on the tips of the petals and it is one of the longest flowering Pycnanthemum we've grown in our pollinator gardens. The blooms arrive in July and carry on to the end of August. It performs well in a wide range of soil types; even in poor soils and dry conditions a planting can last for decades.
