Narrow green foliage adorn 2-3 ' stems which terminate with white lipped flowers. Slender Mountain Mint has long been used in making tea and has other medicinal qualities.
SLENDER MOUNTAIN MINT - Purple/white flowers in mid to late summer. Strong mint aroma when leaves are crushed. Easily grown to a height of 24 inches.
The finely textured blue-green to deep green fragrant foliage of Narrow-Leaved Mountainmint is topped by large clusters of tiny light lavender to light pink tubular blooms in summer. An excellent choice for native pollinators like bees and butterflies. This tough low native seems to remain where you put it creating a clump forming perennial that is fairly tough and durable. Tolerant of wet and dry soil conditions. A good choice for a minty tea.Grown from locally collected seed.
