Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Bold purple tubular flowers adorn the stems of this hummingbird-magnet plant. The deep purple bloom clusters are a sight to behold and it will flower steadily from early summer until frost. The plant has large, velvety leaves and usually reaches about 3' tall. In the same family as brugmansias, Iochromas are sometimes called 'Mini Angel Trumpets," and they have similar cultural requirements: full sun, well-drained soil and frequent fertilization during the summer months to encourage continual blooming.
