Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A Mexican native, small growing spineless agave. Maximum size is 2 feet rosette. Offsets occasionally. Nice pinstripe running down the center of each leaf. Prefers protection from full, direct sun.
This agave is rare in cultivation as well as the wild. It has long, narrow leaves with a pale stripe down the middle. In cooler temperatures or with some water stress plants can develop a beautiful red flush to the foliage. With its small size and limited spines this agave could make a great pot specimen and winter houseplant. Endemic to a small region in the state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico.
