Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of our best selling container plants has always been Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender'. Last summer, we came across this new form of the South African Plectranthus and it stopped us in our tracks: larger flower tresses blooming away in August, a month earlier than darling Mona. Very similar otherwise with forest green foliage undersided in deep purple. Grows 18-24".
Velvet Elvis' has large inflorescences of large lavender blue flowers with very dark green leaves and purple stems with a compact upright habit. It's not hardy, but who cares? This plant is a fabulous addition to containers.
