Nursery contributed plant descriptions

It's no secret that I love hostas, and there are probably too many descriptions on this website that says a variety is one of my favorites. There are some hostas that I just don't want to garden without. 'Sandhill Crane' is one of those. It's not a well known variety by any means, but it is somewhat unique. Leaves are very long and narrow, 9" long x 2" wide, and are medium green surrounded by a white margin. It really reminds me more of a broad-leaf sedge than a hosta! Unique and perfect for combining with ferns, Astilbe, and Brunnera. An F2 seedling of H. longissima from Greg Johnson. This is registered as being 18" tall, but I have yet to see one that tall.
