Nursery contributed plant descriptions

2.5 inch, wavy lobes are dark pink with yellow pink edging opening in May. The dark green foliage turns a rich red-orange in the fall.
Rose Red 2' - 4'. Dwarf to semi dwarf. A lovely mid spring bloomer in a deep rose color. Set against semi evergreen dark red foliage, really 'pop' in a landscape design. A low growing, mound forming bush, 'Rose' is a convenient plant to use to hide the legs of taller bushes or small trees. Use in mixed borders, woodland garden edges or as front yard accent plantings. Like many azaleas,'Rose' makes a beautiful statement when used for mass plantings.
The wavy flowers always get a second glance with their inside a deep pink and their coquettish outside a deeper yellow pink. An added attraction comes in fall when the dark green foliage becomes a rusty red-orange.
