Rodgersia pinnata is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with bronze and green foliage. In spring pink and white flowers emerge. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with mostly sun - shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in acidic and rich soil. A good option if you're seeking something humidity tolerant.

The bold, handsome foliage tinted with bronze creates dramatic effects near water with astilbes, ferns, and hostas. PSh/M-W (not dry)
Dramatic symmetrical clumps to 2-3’ tall and wide of highly textured, architectural, bold leaves with light-spring bronzing are queens of the woodland! Astilbe-like flowers of light pink to white fluff out well above the foliage in midsummer on reddish stems. Found along streams in their native woodlands in SW China, these regal plants enjoy rich acidic soil that is consistently moist, bright shade or AM sun and protection from fierce winds.
Miniature. Narrow, elongated, white rimmed green leaves form little mounds to 4" high. 8" flower scapes in early summer. Great for containers and fairy gardens. Plants maintain their good looks over a long season.
The parent of many of the garden hybrids and a fine plant in its own right, a Chinese species usually with pink flowers. ZONE 4

Bold foliaged plant which is indispensable for the shade garden. This will take more sun if given plenty of moisture but really excels in light shade to part sun. New growth is lightly bronzed turning green and tall to 3' flower stems are plumed in small pink or white Astilbe-like flowers.
