Nursery contributed plant descriptions

(SYRINGA V. ‘ELSDANCER’) Full size, fragrant Lilac flower panicles on compact, deciduous, upright plants 4-5’ tall and 3-4’ wide. Blooms better in warmer areas than other Lilacs but is very cold hardy too! Typical Lilac culture – full sun, most soils, drought tolerant when established. Deer and rabbit resistant. There is nothing like the fragrance of Lilac blooming in late spring on the bush or in the vase! Great breakthrough for those of us who love this but didn’t have the space.
Small in stature (4-5't x 3-4'w) but large in bloom (4-5" violet-purple panicles) and fragrance, this heat and mildew-resistant gem is perfect for the smaller garden, container or anywhere! S/M PPAF
Memorable, pleasant fragrance. Long considered a species for old-fashioned gardens, this selection has a compact form; making it ideal anywhere focus plants called for. In addition to its expected cold-hardiness, Tiny Dancer? boasts remarkable heat tolerance, growing and blooming well in the South. Even in Zone 8, violet-purple buds open into lavender flowers, ranking it among the dogwoods and azaleas as a hallmark of spring. Large panicles measure 4 to 5 in., and the large florets make each cluster appear luxuriously full. Foliage and flowers are in perfect scale, one complementing the other. You know the feeling when everything is right about a plant. It exudes quality. We're inspired to bring Tiny Dancer? to you, one of the best new plants for today's gardens.
