    Solidago ptarmicoides is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In summer white flowers emerge. Attracts beneficial insects, birds and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Does well in gritty and rocky soil.

    This virtually unknown August-September blooming Aster bears hundreds of attractive cream centered white flowers on 15" stems, beloved by butterflies and beneficial insects.. The foliage is a linear dark green, forming tidy mats. A prairie native, it is very tolerant of dry conditions. You may sometimes see this listed as Solidago, but we've now learned it should be called Oligoneuron album..., okay taxonomists, really?
