Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Solidago Little Lemon is a compact hybrid goldenrod offering delightful multi-branched flower stems in the mid to late summer garden covered in tiny lemon yellow flowers atop lance-shaped, light green foliage. Clump-forming with compact basal branching 14 inches tall with an 18 inch spread. Useful in the summer perennial border, and in small, wild or meadow gardens, in containers, and as a cut flower. Goldenrods have been wrongfully accused and do not cause hayfever. Popular with bees and butterflies. Deer resistant. Cultivar name: 'Dansolitlem'

This true miniature (to only 12") will provide a large splash of color late-summer-into-fall when most flowers have finished; delightful in containers, front of a butterfly garden or in a bouquet. S/M-D PPatent17297

(LITTLE LEMON GOLDENROD) Cute little Goldenrod only grows 12” stems topped in late summer with pixie sized lemon yellow florets in showy umbels... pair it with some blue flowering Nepeta or plant it to front Penstemon Midnight (ooohhhh). Not at all soil fussy, enjoys full sun but will take part shade. Drought tolerant, deer resistant, rock garden star! USDA Z5

PPAF. A new hybrid wildflower that has made the jump from the wayside to a star position in perennial beds, garden worthy for its compact, non-running habit and loads of lemon yellow spires of bloom. Cut back after initial bloom to encourage a repeat late fall flowering. Lovely as an under planting to masses of tall verbena, globe thistle, or blazing star.
