Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This virtually unknown August-September blooming Aster bears hundreds of attractive cream centered white flowers on 15" stems, beloved by butterflies and beneficial insects.. The foliage is a linear dark green, forming tidy mats. A prairie native, it is very tolerant of dry conditions. You may sometimes see this listed as Solidago, but we've now learned it should be called Oligoneuron album..., okay taxonomists, really?
This bright and showy Aster is covered with brilliant white blooms from late August through September. Combine with the Showy Goldenrod for a fabulous fall show! Thrives in dry sandy, gravely soil in full sun. Hardy to Zones 3 - 7.
