Nursery contributed plant descriptions

An extremely narrow distribution in the wild to dry, shale in Colorado. Unfortunately, these very limited wild populations happen to be growing on top of quite a bit of oil that lots of people would like to drill for. Google it, and you'll find all sorts of risk assessments and papers about how the oil companies are going to preserve it while still getting the oil... Yeah. We'll see. It never hurts to keep some around in gardens just in case. Typical lacy thalictrum foliage, fairly insignificant flowers. Unlike most thalictrum, likes it hot and dry. Zone 5, guessing.
