Much like pinnata but taller, with dark red seed capsules and a darker general aspect. Be sure to allow plenty of space for all Rodgersias, since they grow slowly but eventually reach an impressive size. These are my favorite discounting the fact that Astilboides has been removed from the genus, but it is after all in a class by itself. ZONE 4
