Nursery contributed plant descriptions

We have always thought the broad shiny leaves on this low growing and fairly fast spreading Solomon Seal were something special and they do add a glint to the garden. The familiar white bell flowers on short stems to 15" and this will make a very attractive skirt to a larger Rhododendron or more statuesque ferns. This is a good form shared with us from the rare plant collection at the Miller Botanic Garden.
An exceptional plant with broad leaves to 8" long on 30" arching stems, which bear axillary pendant white flowers tipped in green and followed by showy blue fruit. ZONE 5
