Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Echinosophora koreensis, is an endangered small shrub belonging to a monotypic genus in central Korea that reproduces both sexually and vegetatively via rhizomes. It has showy clusters of yellow pea flowers. The extract of Echinosophora koreensis can be used for an anti -hangover agent because it can reduce alcohol density and acetaldehyde density in blood by promoting in vivo alcohol metabolism through improving activities of alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH).
