Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Daphne x hendersonii 'Earnst Hauser'. Perhaps my very favorite of this spectacularly beautiful group of daphnes, Earnst boasts strikingly dark foliage. Flower buds start out a dark, handsome purple red that open to a pale pink that contrasts marvelously with the holly-dark leaves. Excellent, consistent rebloom, on an upright plant that can be a foot or more tall.
