Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Variegated climbing hydrangea. The foliage comes out white and turns green as the season progresses. The new foliage is attractive against the older green leaves.
Climbing hydrangea is a beautiful and elegant climbing woody vine for partially shady gardens. 'Early Light' features foliage that emerges creamy white and slowly gains more green as the leaves mature to a green with speckled white variegation.Flowers are typical of the species, usually in late may to mid June here in Wisconsin. It's a self-clinging vine, and will attach itself to pretty much any rough surface like wood or brick. 'Early Light' will be slower growing due to the variegation, but its beauty more than makes up for the slow growth rate.
