Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A STAR among the Teller hydrangeas! One of our favorite customers found this hydrangea at a local grocery store and when I saw it, I knew it was the special Rotschwanz. The star-like petals are a true give-a-way to this gem. Star-like petals are dark red (or puple like her specimen). Strong sturdy stems like the others so it's a beautiful addition to any garden. Bred in Switzerland at the Federal Research Institute for Horticulture in 1987.
