Agave parrasana ‘Globe’ displays a non-clumping, rounded rosette of beautiful waxy blue foliage. The short, broad leaves tightly overlap to create a dense globe. Evergreen. Adds bold form and color in the landscape. They are easy care, drought tolerant plant that is great in landscapes and containers. Protect from frost!
Sharply-toothed blue-gray leaves, upright when younger, form a more enclosed, globe-like Agave. The species comes from the Parras mountains of southeastern Coahuila, Mexico at elevations from 4,500 to just over 8,000 feet where oak and pine forest and chaparral plants comprise its native companions. 2' x 2' and marvelous in a pot.
