Vigorous and hardy in zones 3-7, this late spring/early summer bloomer commands attention with its 30" stems bearing cylindrical clusters of soft pink flowers above low mounds of green ovate foliage. 'Superba' does like a moisture retentive soil, and it isn't happy in areas with long hot humid summers.
Bees like these pink bottlebrush spike flowers with a lavender tinge that bloom June and July. The large leaves become rich red in fall. 2.5 - 3' T and clumping to 2' W.
